Hii everyone! My one cat has an issue with crystals in his urine and has been costing me thousands in vet bills. He’s already been to an internal med specialist and next I’ll be taking him to a nutritionist (which is also super expensive ). I was wondering if anyone knows or uses any other brand of cat litter that will detect health issues from their urine like this one is suppose to. Thank you in advance!

Great review! I was seriously considering this litter for our two cats, but after the points you made about the smell, dust and gross yellow clumps stuck to the bottom, I've changed my mind. Thanks for the honest review. You shouldn't be feeling sad for giving it a bad rating because you are saving people a lot of money and hassle. What you described is what I figured. There is no way the amount they recommend for a cat is going to be enough for a month, and much more expensive. For low dusting, I use Frisco which is $13.49 for a 40 pound bag and it takes 2 bags a month for my four cats. I used to use Dr. Elseys because it is also very low dusting, but Frisco is equivalent and much cheaper.

Amazing review. I have seen this online and wanted to get it for my cat. I am glad your were honest. I care about my cats health too and I have a puppy and a toddler, I do not need yucky stuff in my home.

I was thinking about this litter and I"m so glad that I found this review prior to buying it. I was shopping around since I don't like how the previously litters I've bought form hard to remove clumps at the bottom of the box, the amount of dust, and how much they track. I love the light weight litter for obvious reasons but I can't use it because it tracks everywhere into the house. I happened upon Boxiecat litter and absolutely love it. There is literally no dust to the litter, it is large enough grained that it tracks very little. I actually haven't seen it track beyond the mat I have down. It truly does clump at the top and I feel like I use less of it because of that. It is a bit more expensive than what I would usually spend... but so worth the couple extra dollars a month.

So you didn't find the odor or lack of pee smell a bonus? I have 3 cats, and go through a ton of litter, this stuff is a blessing, to me for so many reasons, and I love that it monitors thier health, and no more among a smell in my jome, no more heavy garbage bags filled with pee clumps and poop, with this you can flush the poo and as far as litter scatter, just get one of those litter mats out front of the box, I'd rather have a bit of dust, and less cleanup, knowing that my cats are not hiding any liver or kidney isdues.

I just got my pretty kitty litter the other day. So far, 2 bags are good for my 2 cats. I like the indicator chart for the urine. When I "scoop the poop" it clings to the poo just enough. I haven't had any smell issues yet. I like it! My cats like it, too. I have a lid on my cat litter box. I check my litter box a few times a day. Sometimes I can get some of the clumped pee out with the poo, so I just take that out. I haven't noticed any dust so far. But, only having it for a week, this is new. I like that it's auto delivered because I'm always so frazzled and sometimes forget I have to get more, so I like that I can forget about it and have it delivered to my front door.

I was on the fence with trying this and actually subscribed but just canceled and also emailed that I don't want the one bag even and asked for a refund as the bag has not even shipped. The dust report and the ending where it sat at the bottom was a big reason why. Thank you again.

Stirring in looks like more work than scooping clumps. Subscription is a lot more expensive than we spend on our two cats. The dust is visible and silica dust is dangerous (look up silicosis). Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you for the honest review. I was researching this product & yours was the 1st HONEST review. We use horse pellets & my cat likes it but the only bad thing is those pellets hurt when you step on them so I wanted something soft & no dust for my cat.

Thank you so much for this review! I see pretty litter advertised so much so I thought about getting it, but now I know not too. If there is anything I can't stand when it comes to litter it's DUST. I switched from clay litter to the tidy cats breeze system and it has no dust whatsoever!
