all i know is you can buy a region free or open up a player and install a chip, dont think its worth all that for some kung fu movies. ps those camera angles are sick.good luck on the unlock

Oppo players can be made region free. Only problem is oppo players are much more than $100 and you need to buy a seperate device to make it region free which is another $50.

the only way of getting the ps3 region free is by jailbreaking it but as you just got it i dont think it will be the right version . does your blu ray player have a usb slot? there is updates you can download for your player to make it region free but not all have it do a search on your model .

Buy a region C blu ray player. Just make sure you can plug it in.
