I love the reversal of roles this game’s intro has. Zero 1 started with the resistance coming to Zero out of desperation, and Zero 2 starts with Zero making it to the resistance out of desperation. It shows how neither force is powerful without the other to support it.

I like that throughout this stage, Zero is hunched over and looking beat up even though his energy bar has no damage. It’s as if he’s capable of getting tired after a long journey.

cant believe I'm only discovering this now, this does so much justice to the original departure theme. There's a bout a gajillion remixes out there but they all overcomplicate it and make it an entirely different thing.
