Days before cell phones I was fishing after work in a remote Florida lake. Heard this huge splash behind me and turned to find a eagle floundering in the water about 2ft deep. The fish it had was too big to pick up. Eventually it worked it's way to shore where it chewed off the head then flew to a nearby tree to finish it's meal. This clip sure brings it back!

That bird caught itself a feast and was NOT letting go of it. :)

Like a true fisherman, he's not letting THAT big lunker get away. And if he can ever lift it off and take it to his nest, he'll deserve the feast it represents.

Saw something like this at Lake Superior. The eagle although was able to fly at water level, pulling the fish in tow. Cool sight to see.
