There definitely needs to be a Part 2 to this to see what happens next because of what happened at the cost of Kovu saving Simba. Because when Kovu stopped Nuka to save Simba, I bet that in the end, when Kovu saw Nuka die, Kovu was like as he lowered his head in disappointment, “You left me no choice, Brother.” And then Simba and Kiara comfort Kovu over that despite that killing is the last thing they ever have in mind, Kovu did the right thing and they will make sure that it is not taken out on Kovu in case when the Outsiders come to attack the Pride Lands and they see Kovu there. It’s also very interesting that in this, Kovu does not get his scar.
