This song brings me back to lonely nights staring at the stars while deployed in Iraq in 04.... the sounds of gunfire and choppers overhead overlapped by the sounds of silence in my own head while watching the stars wishing for a peace I couldn't observe......

I still can't get over how damn good this version is, not something at all I expected from Disturbed.

This is amazing! Simon & Garfunkel very rarely allow their music to be sang by artists or remade. They must have loved this version.

Im 81. I loved all of Simon and Garfunkel's music, but this song was special back then and it is still special today. This version is powerful. I'm not sure that it would have been successful had this been the original version, but it sure as hell is powerful these days. I wish i had discovered this musician/vocalist earlier. He is truly special.
