Very interesting to learn about this area and it's a shame the drought has impacted it so much. It was neat to see the bald cypress trees. I was surprised to see the river totally dry downstream.

Interesting how the dam was built. Surprised that would be considered safe/sturdy enough. Such a shame everything is so dry. Looked like that was a nice little campground, but if there's no water for activities, it probably doesn't get much business if it is open. Thanks for the update.
