Love it.  We had 2 of those when I was a teen in high school.  Only a little smaller.

In 1950 I started an apprenticeship with a firm that had two similar planers except they were three or four times larger. Belt slip was a problem on them too. Sometimes the belt would come off at the end of the return stroke and the table would shoot off the end of the machine. They also had two other similar machines which were equipped with milling heads. They have now replaced all four machines with a similar capacity CNC mill.
