I wish we got Pokeball customization. Even just preset colors. That way if my squad isn’t gonna have matching balls, at least they’d have thematic ones.

For everyone wondering about the Strange Ball, it’s the ball that will appear when BDSP and PLA get connected to Home and balls that are unavailable in those games are the ones that were used to catch Pokémon that get transferred into those games (BDSP being the Beast Ball, PLA being all of them)

i guess it will indeed be used for Pokemon that came from home. like, when you transferred a Pokemon that was caught in a quickball or masterball for example, it will transform into the strangeball bc masterballs etc didn't exist back then

tbh as a breeder whose cherished Apricorn balls to breed mons in very disappointing to see the particle effects of balls go away. Still a good game but seems it dont matter what u catch em in in this game they all have very similar entrance, except the 3 that whistle i guess.

I've put nearly all my ghost pokemon inside the gigaton ball because the markings look like runes/seals. I also put dialga inside the gigaton ball for thr same reason, i was going to put it inside a jet ball because the colors somewhat match but the origin form colors are darker. Gigaton ball just look like they are meant to contain something powerful.

I think the Strange Ball is probably supposed to be Arceus's pokeball icon, and also, glad to know that the game won't let us waste the Origin Ball on something as worthless as a Bidoof.

Is there a way to change the ball a pokemon is in? Or do I need to re-catch and re-train my pokemon if I want another ball effect?

The Origin Ball is basically the Master Ball of Legends.

I never noticed this before and now I will be even more picky about what ball I want specific pokemon in (even if I end up never using them oops)
