Where do you find a hinge with a beveled edge... or is it just minor.? I've looked at a few in the store and some seemed to have a slight bevel to them.

Good idea but I would come in about 5 mm from one edge and cut with a hacksaw about 15 mm to make it easier for boxes and maybe 10 mm in from the other edge
