I ended up getting the Black Suit version of Spider-Man 3 PSP with the cool dark start menu theme. Loved how Black Spidey would smash the floor when he landed

I loved playing Spiderman 3 on my PSP. It was crazy how good the game looked on a portable system. PSP will always have a special place in my heart. One of the best consoles ever made.

Holy cow, the PSP was a beast. 0_0. A little 2004 handheld console was able to run these games like a mini-Ps2 would.

The PSP Spider-Man games were all solid. What I like about Friend or Foe PSP was that it was made from the ground up by developer A2M (Dantes Inferno, Dead By Daylight). It was still a beat 'em up but all the levels had different designs, layouts and certain assets along with new comic book still cinematics which I thought looked pretty cool. Plus the roster was better as they took out Lizard, Prowler, Scorpion and Sable but you got Electro and Carnage exclusively in the PSP version (which is way better IMO) along with an exclusive all new level, the Underground Temple. Same applies to Web Of Shadows and Spider-Man 2 for PSP. They were great level based games. Open world doesn't automatically mean a better game.

Spider-Man 2 for the PSP is the best one in my opinion. I know it's a rehash of the second one with using the first games's engine but that's what makes it special. You're essentially playing the second one right after the first one with the same engine.
