Astartes will always be bittersweet to me. On the one hand its mind blowing that one dude managed to create something that so beautifully captures Warhammer 40000, on the other hand were likely to never see anything remotely as well made as it again.

It's really fun to see someone getting so excited and interested at 40k lore. It's a rabbit hole well worth diving down.

It's always funny watching non-40k fans try to wrap their mind around the insanity that is 40k. It's great to see fresh reactions to the world. Hope you enjoyed the animation!

After my third "yes, but no..." I realized that no matter how much I love the 40k Universe, it is a damm dificult one to explain to newcomers, nevertheless it was really entertaining to watch and I hope the flashes and pretty lights are enough to pull you into the grimm darkness of the 41st milenium full of horrors and glory in equal messure (sry for any bad english, non native here)

Calling Psykers mages is some what accurate but also understated. Their are ones like Mephiston from the Blood Angels who can stop time or Njal from the Space Wolves that can call lighting and ice storms from nowhere and the Psykers from the Salamanders who can literally breath fire. Blood Raven Psykers just steal other people's shit so arcane rogue is close for them.

I haven't played Warhammer 40k nor have I been in the community at all, but holy crap. This is talent. The ability for ONE PERSON to create a visual effects movie this smooth and appealing is crazy. You guys' fanbase is something else.

I get a lot of enjoyment out of watching someone learning about and enjoying something I've loved my whole life. It's just very very pleasant.
