I haven't done them all yet, but I challenged myself to do arrangements of all the songs in this soundtrack, one way or another. What makes it so tricky for me, yet proves why the whole soundtrack is beyond amazing, is the use of syncopation and offbeat emphasis in the music. So many first notes in each phrase actually begin on the "and" of beat 4.

I never realized until now that the sound chip used is basically a YM2612 (MD/GEN) with a couple more channels for samples and FM.

this was the best game for me. sega had some great ones but i just loved power drift
