As a Brony (female actually, but I'd prefer to call myself a Pegasister), I actually understand this. So, basically, Junko is like Discord (before being reformed). She spreads despair like how Discord spreads chaos. Now, with that Ultimate Despair group. It's like how Discord made Pinkie, Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Rarity corrupted. But, no. Junko didn't only made 5-6 people fall into deep despair, but more than 5-6. But, the thing is, they never had hope anymore, unlike how Twilight's friends regained harmony. That's all I can say, but in short, even though it's a Brony song, it still explains the Tragedy.
