Book reader here. And yeah I'm going to be that person. I don't know why it still bugs me, but in the book the Zombies/Zack were NOT fast...and yet, they were still extremely TERRIFYING. There were MILLIONS of them at the Battle of Yonkers. The Army was fighting all of New York City's infestation. Their Moans were so loud that the military couldn't even hear their own gunfire, tank fire and missiles from Jets. If you haven't read the book, I really recommend that you do. It is a GREAT read.

I had idled over the New York campaign before doing something else, ears perked up to "Paladins", and thought this sure sounded familiar...

I was suprised they put that beginning audio in the game. So cool!

It’s a cool reference but I wish the film followed the Story of Yonkers or hope, but it sounds cool with the fast zombies and the transformation time.

Given the very specific references to material units that were also referenced in the book, like the Comanche, oh yeah, it's a reference. I am certain of this because the RAH-66 Comanche program was cancelled by the Pentagon, and no units are active that use the aircraft. Hole in one, sir!

knowing that in movie zedheads are fast, you can just imagine what a massacre Battle of Yonkers in movie universe was, like holy shit dude

The army have more firepower but it can drain there ammunition so fast it can't keep up to horde and never ending zombies

i mean sure there was 22m of them but cmon man its the fucking usa army plus in the book they are slow asf so how the hell could they get overun?
