Hello! Welcome to my channel. I am a game developer and language learner. So I make videos about that stuff. I am simply here because I like to make videos and want a place for people to see them. Most work that will be uploaded are game related, but aside from that this is a very chill channel.

The issue with calling it "lazy" is that you're simply letting your emotions run away with you. Is SWSH one of the weaker games? Sure. But unless you're in the development room with Game Freak, you can't attest to their "laziness" or otherwise. The game has its flaws, the game is certainly more shoddy compared to others, but you cannot use the word "lazy" without knowing.

Heck, even when they removed HMs the previous gen, Sun and Moon had Ride Pokémon, which were Pokémon, and opened up the same gradually-increased acess to areas and secrets.

OMG, That one cut scene towards the end where the guy is supposed to be yelling into a microphone in the subway station but there is literally no sound Except The Stretching Of The Microphone! It’s so awkward and lazy that I was literally laughing at how bad it was!

I think HMs would have been much better if they were additional out of battle moves only, so you could have your pokemon with whatever moveset you want, but once you get a gym badge the gym leader is like "hey you've got promise kid, and I see you've got a pokemon that can learn HM in your party, so let me show it a new trick!" and boom, your machop learns how to smash rocks without hurting itself

I just miss the days when the event pokemon felt like actual events. Remember when they gave out items that unlocked small bits of the game to catch a new Pokemon rather than just "Here's a ball with a shiny legendary, hope you feel like you actually accomplished something by getting this handed to you by a random mailman."

I think that the most appealing part of a pokemon game is making friends with the pokemon, not beating the other trainers, but the friends you make along the way, and the adventures you have, the pokemon you depend on that carry you through thick and thin and that you consider your friends. That’s whats appealing about the pokemon games, and thats why I enjoy nuzlockes, even if I’m terrible at them. In a nuzlocke, its not about catching them all, its about making freinds, friends that carry you and that you love, pokemon you care about, so even if a nuzlocke is sad, and they always will be because no matter who you are your pokemon will die in a nuzlocke, I love them because of the bonds you make with these pokemon, and you CARE about theses creatures, because they have been with you and you have grown to have an emotional bond with them, and thats why its sad when they die. The other part of a pokemon game, the crucial part, is the story. Thats why gen one pokemon was so good, because the story was good. I love pokemon, because when I imagine myself in an adventure, its an adventure through the worlds of pokemon. Either that or the world of wings of fire, which is why if I had 3 wishes, I would wish to be able to go anywhere, fantasy or real. And the story and the bonds with your pokemon are intertwined, because as you go these pokemon carry you through the story, and without them, the story and the pokemon, the world of pokemon would be nothing more that a dry hust, lifeless and incomplete. You wouldn’t have the same feeling of enjoyment without both of those things. Other small details, like how they really messed up when they created 3D sprites. Those are the things that bring the pokemon world to life, and thats why I enjoy the earlier pokemon games, and some of the fanmade ones, because the fans know what makes a pokemon game fun.

Scary how Sun/Moon look WAY better than Sw/Sh. Oh well. That's what happens when you need to finish a game for the holidays

I’ve sort of felt that PLA and SwSh were two sides of the same coin, in that they were an attempt to figure out how to move the series in a new direction but without changing too much all at once and alienating their fan base. Pokémon fans can be hard to please; if you change too much, people will ask for the game they used to love, and if you change too little, people will wonder why it’s the same game they’ve played over and over again.

Team building was my favorite part of the game. It just gives you a sense of fulfillment when you went through all the grind, sweat, and sacrifice that all leads up to the elite four.

This is why I support rom hacks . Whenever I need a pokemon fix, I just restart my improved black and black 2. They're so good, I'm guilty I can't pay for them

17:07 I love how the "bird's eye" looks like it's seen through a camera, most likely a Rotom drone.

I think that the best part of Galar is A: The gym music and B: Zacian. I love that thing. Will always pick Pokemon Sword.

love your critique, overall pretty fair. Lots of critiques are based on the notion that "2D era good, 3D era sucks", but your actually put in the effort to appreciate the tiny little details in Gen 7 and LGP/E
