Half Life Nihilanth: teleports you to some random places

When I see what Freeman had to face in Half-Life 1, Half-Life 2 story seemed so easy for him.

Who would win ?

I really wish he said more of the classic lines..

That "Freeeeemaaaannnnn..." was the most menacing shit i've ever heard.

This battle alone makes The Combine absolutely terrifying. Imagine having the power to subjugate a creature like the Nihilanth and create a trap to contain the G-Man from HL Alyx.

This boss battle is amazing

i actually love how instead of teleporting you to places, he teleports places to you.

In the original, the odds of the fight were stacked against you. Hard to get to healing pool, no access to more ammo outside of letting the Nihilanth teleport you elsewhere, Vortigaunts and Controllers would spawn in and attack while you were focused on said Nihilanth, and the inside of its head was much harder to get too and tougher to destroy. Couple this with an early attack that would kill you if you took the full brunt of it and despite the limited amount of attacks you'd need to dodge, you have a damn difficult boss fight.
