the orthodox church kept itself mysterious. the smell, the ritual, the byzantine chants... it feels like you no longer are on Earth. it's enough to close your eyes and simply listen. it puts you in a trance

I'm Russian and I've been surrounded by Orthodox Christianity since I was born. I'm not even religious, but every time I walk into a church and smell the incenses and the candle wax it makes me feel surreal, like I came back home

Im not even religious but i love the feeling of Orthodox churches. Being Greek I take part in a lot of christian traditions because they're deeply tied to our culture, and everytime i get to go inside an Orthodox church i just find peace.

I'm a Muslim and I'd like to visit a Church sometime. Respectful, interfaith dialogue and discussing ideas/beliefs/commonalities, can be very beautiful and positive, in a world filled with so much negativity and polarization! Much love to my Christian friends!

As a Protestant when I went to the orthodox and Catholic Churches around my travels I am left in wonder. It’s truely a gift from heaven. They don’t make churches like this here. God bless you all
