The thing I really love about this animation is that throughout the fight you can see in sans expression that he’s being self calmed and does not show much expression throughout the battle, remaining calm. However when he’s hit you see the first real reaction from him when he is shocked after seeing his blood wound. But the part that hits like a truck is when sans starts breaking down into tears. Sans rarely opens up into his emotions and often hides it behind a calm appearance and attitude, so seeing him unable to take it anymore and break down into tears knowing he’d die in vain and can’t stop the human from doing the genocide route no matter what he does is honestly really sad and puts into perspective the pure creativity Toby put into sans when writing him

At first when sans got sliced I didn't react much because I knew what happened, but seeing him break down crying and Frisk even feeling sorry and crying as well hits hard. Respect man, you deserve everything.
