KillDisk did the trick of course since that thing erases EVERYTHING, even your operating system (Windows). So use KillDisk AFTER you back up your files onto another computer and after you tried all that other stuff (System restore, scanning,etc.)

I didn't look into it too much, but I read on a forum that you can buy that thing in a store like Kmart, enter the code, and it still doesn't work. But don't pay for anything man, it's all a scam and just like any other virus, there is a way to get rid of it

I did that like 10 times before I finally did the KillDisk. This virus was nasty it kept coming back no matter how many system restores I did

Thanks but as it says in the description, I already tried that :'( I've recently removed the hard drive and have been scanning it with Malwarebytes, Antivir, etc., multiple virus removers vie my laptop. If this doesn't do it, I will have to run something someone calls a KillDisk, which I do not mind losing any files at this point. Thanks for your reply

The only and first virus i had was the Adware.Crossid . And it what it does is that it reconfigurs your web browser that replaces all advertisements with its own. Though it was easy to track down since all the adware.crossid viruses commonly has the word "Savings" part of its name such as LuckySavings or BigSavings. Those are 2 adware.crossid viruses i found.
