Hi, this is great and I'm doing the same setup. I had a hard time finding a register box and draft damper that large (16" duct). I measured my fan outside diameter at 17 1/8" also. You mentioned 16". I have the QuietCool 3013. Also, the grill cover to fit the largest register box I could find was 14" x 14". If you have time to post part numbers of your supplies, that would really help. Thanks!
