I can't really put into words how thankful I am for the kindness and patience so many of you have shown me.

I tried music production for the first time when I was 16. I couldn't figure out what equipment to use or how to use it. But, after a while, I slowly figured out how to do it and found some equipment I could use. I started making simple covers, mostly drums. Then I moved on to guitar covers, then full instrumentals. I then had the courage, and the skill, to create my first original song. I downloaded a guitar riff off YouTube to make it easier on myself and so I had something to build off. I chose a Mick Gordon style of song to really push myself when it came to sound design and layering. Then I created my first original guitar riff and built my own song around it. I was so happy to have created something that was entirely my own. But with that comes a LOT of artist's block. Even right now, I can't think of any new riffs or things to create. Then I reached out to one of my producer friends to try and see if he had any ideas, and he said, "maybe some Skrillex dubstep", so I tried it, and I'm now currently working on my first ever Skrillex-style dubstep song, and 3 other songs already made within a month of each other. There is always something out there for you to explore and create something with, you just need either someone else to help you, or to set it aside for now, and go take a break to clear your head, and you can come look at it again with fresh eyes, or ears, in my case. You don't always have to give up when you reach an obstacle. It IS ok to ask for help. It IS ok to take a break. I hope this advice helps, because I've been there too.

literally my first time seeing you but I totally get it. I constantly get fired up, super amped for ideas, and then the passion just vanishes one morning. I even tried twitch streaming and couldn't stick with it 'cause I didn't know how to just commentate without a chat to bounce off of. I put a lot of eggs in the basket because I find myself thinking "oh this'll get me out of my walmart job" but I'm just too inexperienced to get there.

This did show up in my recommended feed, and as a fellow content creator I honestly felt a lot of what you said. Especially at 2:23.

Never seen your channel before but I think it's completely fine to take a break. When you're tired, always take a break.

I am sitting here only 3 mins in and my friend, I don't think you should give up but I think you should take a break and let yourself just feel these feelings. While things might be going wrong or giving you a struggle, I don't think you should stop trying because no matter what you do there will always be something that will cause you to feel like you aren't doing enough. While I don't use twitch often I am glad that you are going to keep that up. I can tell you have a light that wants to glow with youtube and I think if you give it a chance and let it grow, that it might one day thank you. YOU are seen, YOU are HEARD and I am glad I found this channel. hopefully I'll see you post sometime in the future. Until then I guess ill have to make a twitch account to forget about the world for a little bit <3

Even if you do give up, at least you can look back and know you tried - few people do that. I've wanted to make content for ages, but never get round to it.
