BFG Division playing every time you say "The Doom Slayer" is probably one of the funniest running jokes i've ever seen in a game review.

Basically every second of Doom 16 is incredible, but I think the best part is the first time you step foot into hell. You are the only human in the plane of ultimate evil. One versus uncountable billions of vile monsters. And what is the response from these creatures? A warning. To their own.

If Having a Demon Say , "He is here ." , when you step into hell means you're the utmost badass that ever breathed oxygen , then someone get this man a fucking trophy .

For as weak as his boss fight ended up being, I like that the Cyberdemon comes off as the only demon not scared of the Slayer; he just HATES you.

"Bethesda hasn't even been able to kill Doom yet. That's why it's Eternal, baby!"

"Its not the boss of this game, you are." That line perfectly explains Doomguy in this game and reminds me how he killed the Titan and scared hell shitless.

Seeing doom guy fist bump a little action figure of himself is really cute and I love it.

28:46 Perhaps she did get her end of the deal. I initially thought she was sacrificed to create the Spider Mastermind, but she actually got transformed into the Spider Mastermind. The machinery on it is really reminiscent of Olivia's exoskeleton thing she wears. There's even a statue of her in Eternal, so Hell has some respect for her.

One of my favorite things about this game was, ironically, the lore. The codex entries you find everywhere are very well written, and are actually really interesting if you sit down to actually read them.

12:25 To Doom Slayer's credit he DID at least look for some kind of off button/switch before resorting to smashing it to pieces.
