Your right about the base price being reasonable (as long as you shop around and buy at the right time ) but P & O cleaned up on you two via the drinks package

I really don't know how I feel about Iona and Arvia. I don't like the idea of having to book everything and plan. I like just walking up, feeling the vibe and going with it. I know some things need planning, but not everything. We've booked Marella Discovery now. Something different for us.

We are sailing on Iona soon and I've booked one of the excursions through a local company rather than P&O. Its actually the same company that P&O use but around half the price.
