4:51 ;) Other people make the box you speak of, this was a free style build... it's nature came from the circuitry outwards. Meaning, it turned into a dub device... wasn't "created" to be one. This is the essence of "Circuit Bending"... If and when I go about building a machine like the one you describe, I start with an intention, circuitry concepts and design.. and build from the ground up. Alas, this is a different sort of beast.

The classic dub echo is created by the ROLAND RE-201 "SPACE ECHO" ... many would say it is in essence the Fender Guitar of Reggae / Dub music. There are MANY clones and like echo's ... but the RE-201 is the true RASTA original. The idea of course is the get an echo such as that... then rock out with different sound effect units such as mine or other cool one shot devices. Hope that helps ;) jahhh blesss

Understood, it's certainly not for everyone. BUT I should mention again, this particular piece is only half circuit bent sound module, the other half is an original effect processor. That part really isn't circuit bent per say, since you can put a Mixer, Guitar, Mic etc through it. If you produce music of ANY kind, this is useful.
