The dark lord ending is the good ending because humans will be able to rule themselves, the incidents at Oolacile and New londo was caused by beings who used the power of darkness for evil needs. Manus' used darkness to find his pendant by using deadly methods and the four kings used darkness to try and gain more power, Darkness is from the dark soul, The dark soul is humanity itself broken into many pieces i.e humans, the four kings and Manus' actions created an illusion that caused people to think that darkness is a evil and terrible thing, when in reality the darkness in its natural state is just humanity, humans, darkness does mean evil, its the ones who uses its power that are evil.

I read over the wiki, the Evil says "Now, under new leadership, the world can finally move forward into the Age of Darkness and perhaps recover some of what it had lost."

This isn't the evil ending. 

Even with the HUD, this game kicked my ass. Can't believe you completed it with the HUD off. Awesome! :)

anyone else notice that this guy is either epic over leveled, or just playing with invincibility?

The Dark Lord ending is still the worst ending. By letting the abyss loose upon the world, you only destroy all life. Manus was a human and look at what happened to him: he became insane from the darkness and corrupted. The residents of Oolacile also mutated from the dark and were destroyed in the end.

Gough's Armor, Abyss Greatsword, Ring of Havel, Dark Wood Grain. I think that was all of it. At 99 endurance you can roll like a beast in that loadout.

So, we teleported back to the cell after walking down that dark path?

I don't get how the other one is the good ending, you're just delaying the inevitable....
