Grian should have put water over the obsidian so the lava and water would meet and regen the obsidian if he had put another layer then he can’t escape

The real question is will he even spawn there, I have seen people question the idea that he may not be placed in the lava by the game because it is a hazard and it would spawn him either to the side or above whichever is closer. I have no idea if this has been figured out yet, but it is worth noting.

Unless Doc tries to go out of the side of the box, because he won’t be able to see. In which case, he’ll die before he can break both obsidian blocks with his fist and he only had one 8 minute fire resistance potion. Not to mention, if he doesn’t see it coming, he could die before he even gets the potion off because it isn’t in his hot bar.
