Description
Thanks for checking out The Accessible Traveler. My name is Michael Moore. I have Cerebral Palsy, walk with a crutch, and use a mobility scooter to get around. I have been lucky to travel extensively over the years throughout the U.S. and the world. I have created this channel to bring the best vacation travel tips for accessible travelers heading to the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida.. Whether disabled, elderly or anyone with accessibility limitations this is the travel channel for you.
On this YouTube channel you will find weekly videos with advice, tips and tricks to easily plan and travel to Walt Disney World. We will provide reviews and recommendations on where to go and where to avoid when visiting. My passion is to help inspire you and your family to get out and see all that Disney has to offer.
Be sure to comment and say hello and let me know what kind of videos or topics you'd like to see.

Been to wdw many times but now my son has lost his entire left leg to cancer and I’m worried he won’t be able to ride things. I don’t want him to miss out on things his able bodied siblings will be able to experience

I had great difficulty get out of the Mexico ride because you are sitting very low in my he boat. Had to grab onto a cast member his neck to disembark. Read confusing comments about handicap accessibility. You can drive a scooter

My aunt will be going with us to Disney and she will be using an ECV. She can only walk small distances at a time. The question I have is, we have 2 sets of people that will be meeting us at 2 different parks (one group one park, the other group a different park). I don't want to or appear to be abusing the system. I know our immediate travelers will be included on her DAS card, but is there a way to get the others too? I only ask because I know we will all want to ride together. Thanks for any input on this, I really appreciate it.
