@mfarleyz Fuelpak is very easy to install, hardest part would be routing the harness cable. There isn't much room under your seat, so I rolled them up and leave the pak out of the rear seat ( which means under rider seat. If you want to go fancy, You could get a Power Commander. I have V&H pipes, K&N air filter, and this fuelpak is made by & for V&H. It's not super tune, but I'm not a racer. If you have your V&H slip ons, you will know the difference with & without the fuelpak. Cheers.

riser will help a lot. There is even the foot control relocation kit, which bring it back like 3 inches, or even mount it in the mid control position.

@apiwatbob yeah, you need a huge subwoofer. This won't work on tiny headphones. I used an external mic with fur so sounds preety close when I have my sub on max.

I'm not so sure. I went with their setting values. Ofc, every bike is different from one another. Try changing the values according to your issue ( at Idle, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th gear ) Fuelpak only does the F.I. system control. If the hardware ( parts inside your bike ) has some issue, it would have a different outcome. If you are very picky about this, Power Commander could be your best bet. But you have to take it to the pro shop to get the perfect map, and keep it tuned like a piano.

69omar76 - those r vance and hines competition slip ons made for the vrod muscle. No tuning necessary. Just those pipes add a few ponies.

I feel the same way. It looks great though. As a brand, however, I always felt that harley-davidson was more focused on the image and culture of harley than the practical use of the bike itself.

@gasserz89 As for performance, they will do the same. Design wise, I like V&H because they took the time to design the pipes, not just a slash off can. Sound wise, Tab has the close-to-traditional Harley sound, which is like blap-blap-blap. V&H has a very low rumble at idle, you can feel it like a super powerful subwoofer. I prefer V&H because of the deeper sound, and it sounds very beefy-mean when you open throttle. I was about to go with Tabs, but you get what you pay for.

Did you faced any problems with the Fuelpak?

if people like the vrod, that's fine by me. but for those that like the looks of the more traditional bike but still want all the extra power, it would be nice if they did that.
