Okay but the storytelling is actually really good here. Kyle sent Sonic to murder a man, when knowing Sonic that was probably the last thing he ever wanted to do. Imagine your father forcing you to kill someone, and then having to kill HIM so the police don't find out. That on top of everyone hating him/being afraid of him because he was alive must have driven him to insanity. It's quite sad, and a good narrative, even if it has its flaws.

I love that there’s no over gritty deaths, just the fatal error screen telling you the character is unavailable. so you can ponder.. are they dead? Or left living to be used as a slave?

Very cool how they actually made it look and feel like the normal game for the green hill zone. Has to be one of the best made games of all of them just because of how it nails the classic Sonic feel while also letting you know that.. something isn't right
