@xThehotpotato You can only play coop on the normal game by playing the Xbox version. However, the Xbox version removes parts of the maps.

Yes, you do respawn when you die. And in the longer maps there are checkpoints such as the machinery level (Alpha Labs S4).

@Zero771 This is a mod to the PC version of the game. It is called "Last Man Standing 4.0", and allows custom and SP story missions for Doom 3 and ROE. Also, I don't want to talk about pirating.

They show the status of other players. If it's an arrow, that means they're in the menu. If it's a PDA, then they're in their PDA. If it's three horizontal dots, then that means they're typing. I think a lightening bolt means they're experiencing severe lag.

@alek03031 There should be a option called "Gametype" that's lets you change what type of maps you want to play. It sounds like your is set on CDoom Coop, which stands for "Classic Doom Coop." What you need to do, is just click on the gametype until it changes to "SP Coop", which will let you play Doom 3 coop.
