This is just sad actually. I really hope there's an option where we can choose to save Donna, I mean. Come on, the woman just wanted to create dolls but she was forced by flappy wings to do shit

In retrospect, it seems weird how a full half of the lords seemed to be set up like they could be turned either to Ethan's side, or at least away from Miranda's...but then the game doesn't even pretend to give a proper reason for Ethan not exploring those options. I can sort of see why Donna was killed despite being mentally little more than a child (Ethan thought he was stabbing the doll when he was actually stabbing her), but Heisenberg outright says that he wants to work with Ethan to killing Miranda.

I felt that she didn’t deserve to die, I know she tried to kill us but I felt that she was forced unlike the others who wanted to kill us for various reasons

I don’t know why but I always find it kind of depressingly ironic that none of the bosses outside of Miranda really needed to die. Donna was borderline innocent. Moreau didn’t do anything out of malice, but was misguided by feelings of insignificance. Heisenberg was an asshole, but seemed like he was experimenting primarily on bodies that already had died, and already wanted to kill Miranda. Dimitrescu was a bit more malicious and actually cruel than the rest of them, but also seemed to be pretty insecure, and desperately wanted to believe she was the favorite child of Miranda. They are all just kind of broken people who have had their insecurities amplified by their strange circumstances to the point they started doing horrible things. I feel like Ethan could have easily played the bosses against Miranda and no one would have had to die.

So then, we use the notes in the cave and show them just what Maranda really thought of her "children".

Honestly i feel like the choices weather or not to kill the lords could have been a good thing, showing ethan can feel compasion for them and their suffering, maybe depending on choices in the game heiseberg is more or less likely to offer you to side with him, and it could change the outcome of the game, just feel like some of the deaths are wasted

I honestly think Donna's death was the most brutal/disturbing compared to the other lords you destroy in the game. With the other lords, they have a mutation, but with Donna, there was no mutation. You literally chase her around the house and beat the hell out of her. I only say that because when the hallucination ends, there is no scissors, and Ethan just has bloody hands. Which tells me, he beat poor Dona to dust.

I wish we were given some actual choices in RE8, I think it would have been amazing to have had the bosses survive based on our choices; even if it was just a non-canon version of events.

It kind of annoys me that people think Angie has a mind of her own. I always got the idea that Angie was simply Donna's way of communicating instead of actually speaking herself. The cadou gave her the ability to control the doll, as if it were alive. The letter you find about her said she used the doll to speak to the person, but they were still Donna. Not to mention when she says, "What are you doing to my cute friends?" While Ethan is stabbing what she wants him to think is just Angie. Why would Angie refer to "friends", while she herself if being stabbed? It's because it was Donna using Angie as a puppet, like she always does.

I really wish we were given an option to let Donna live. Out of the others, she just wanted company and Angie was the closest friend she had.

Alrernate title: "If Donna actually tried to talk to Ethan instead of sending giant baby at him and attacking him with scary dolls."

It’d be cool to get a dlc that gives us the choice on whether to spare or kill the lords, like a few extra steps like reading files or finding an item in their areas. Except for Heisenberg, just give us the choice to accept his offer
