It looks amazing. By mixing the coconut oil with the oil pastels you just basically make paint. By blending oil pastels with either linseed oil, mineral oil, or vegetable oil, you can definitely make the artwork look more like an oil painting.

Wow! I am very interested because I hate OMS and turpentine for health reasons. Only concern… did your paintings yellow over time?

I like this technique, it's less smelly than mineral spirits. Does it have a long drying time?

Do you warm the coconut oil up before using it or does it come liquefied? All the coconut oil I have seen has been solid.
