Those are probably the best counterfeits I've seen someone show so far. Much of the design is very close and parts I usually look at to see if they are wrong have become much better so I can't say I'm not surprised they managed to pass as genuine when you bought them. Their weight and ping are even pretty close, although still off enough to know not real. Scary stuff.

Thank you for sharing! You can consider yourself a hero in some respects for "taking one for the team" publicly, and educating new stackers. I know it hurts, but hopefully you can find solace in the fact you helped others and showed you are not too proud to share valuable information although it is embarrassing.

That’s what I call “being real” we’ve all made choices that didn’t work out but, it really becomes a problem if you were to act like nothing bad happened. Labeling something as a mistake makes it easier to subconsciously recognize in the future as a decision that doesn’t end well. That’s why hindsight is 20/20! ️
