The Lore is litterally dark , like its not that dark but we now something important . That the main character that we play was actually a human i Mean super human , he was a scientist that discovered a power called "Loophole" ( please correct me if IM wrong ) , after he discovered it . The whole entire contaiment knock him out , so that he can be a test subject . Thats the reason why you can save your game . Revive everytime you die. Its scary though how he FORGOT about himself.

Well not really, the deepest part of it is that the player character was apparently a Foundation employee that messed up bad, but other than that there's really not that much.
