If you don't have elastic just single crochet without it. I just done it without it, and it was fine. Make sure the single crochet rounds aren't loose.

I had a bit of trouble at 20:31 when you made the slip knot it was tricky to follow since I to make one you have to cut the yarn for that. Also, figuring out how to do this without elastic and where to start the single crochets took me a while I had to rewatch that part quite a few times. And at 9:01, the sudden silence made it a little harder to follow. But despite the challenges, I’m so glad I stuck with it! I did a bit of sewing to tighten it up, and the final result looks amazing. Thank you for the tutorial!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I made my hat and took it down three 3x. I didn't find you! That elastic is the real game changer! I kept thinking that I was doing something wrong it was so big and out of shape. Lol
