My son and I attended the Patriot Tour and were so moved. I have been an ardent supporter of Marcus and his Lone Survivor Foundation for quite some time. For that matter, an ardent supporter of all of our branches of the military. My son really enjoyed Taya. He is a Veteran and her message reached him. He said her words gave him "hope." In ANY Hollywood adaptation of a book, there will be things changed.  Parts of the book cut out or not filmed at all, things added for dramatic effect.  There simply isn't time in a 2 hour movie to tell and show everything that happened.  I have read the book but as I went to see the movie I fully expected things to be changed and not be a full representation of the book.  That's the way it goes.  Encourage people to read the book so that they know the full story of what happened.

I agree ;  appreciate that they made a movie out of it but it could have been longer and still good and if its not the true story why even put it in the movie .
