I am Italian/Neapolitan. For those who don't understand the Lyrics, most of the Songs are not sung in italian, but in the neapolitan Dialect and the Artists are Neapolitans. Nevertheless, for the Italians themselves, neapolitan is the most beautiful sounding italian Dialect. Whether you swear or sing, it sounds wonderful.

Chi è cresciuto come me nei mitici anni 60-70-80, può considerarsi fortunato non era solo musica, c'era tanta poesia e sentimento cosa che nelle canzoni di oggi non trovi quasi mai. ogni volta che risento queste canzoni è un'emozione enorme

Sentire le canzoni di mia nonna cantando mentre cucinava. La nonna mia, napoletana, che non ha mai imparato un’altra lingua. Grazie nonna, per la musica, “i risate, i canzoni”. Come diceva lei : “i canzoni prima tenevano nu significato”. Il napoletano lo posso parlare ma a scrivere ….. neanche per sogno! Grazie per questi bellissimi ricordi ️

What can you NOT love about Italy? Her food, movies, fashion, sports cars, wine, Serie A football league, spectacle of its natural scenes, ancient monuments, beauty of her language, elegance of her ladies, manner of her people's greetings, and of course, her music are second to none.
