i still can't get over how i had convince another person that digital art is, indeed, art

I'm so glad you brought up the competitiveness of many in the art community. Especially when it comes to who you interact with. I've seen artists that say things like "I don't respond to accounts with under 1k" and really belittling stuff like that. To those people I just kinda say, whatever. I'm a small artist and I want to support other small artists, I hope that if I one day get a following I can help share smaller accounts with my following because a lot can get buried in the social media algorithm and sometimes it takes a little extra luck and help to get noticed in such a big place.

I cannot stand it when artists make tutorials that just show a "wrong" way to draw something and a "right" way without any further elaboration as to why one thing is incorrect, be it in anatomy, color, or any other principle. if I don't know WHY something is the wrong way to draw, I cannot fix the mistake in the future.

I hate when people say that art is easy or when they say they can draw something better! It’s extremely annoying to hear ;-;
