See the sad part is, ash lost this. Like this fun cocky ness is completely gone at the end of the series. He’s just a generic nice boy, this ash had a real personality so it’s a shame

You can't replicate Ash and Misty's dynamic no matter how much they tried with Iris. Ash is the nooby who talks a big game and Misty is the veteran who can see right through him. It makes his arc all the better.
