I kind of feel that the whole thing with the characters in the Equation Playground is meant to be leading up to an episode similar to TPOT 11 in that it’ll be a non-competition episode, with it having the contestants meeting the other Algebraliens and learning about One and why she was put inside the moon.

8-ball most likely landed on the island where firey and leafy live at, but they implied that leafy died during the storm so when he was rejected did not play in TPOT he got flung out into the storm and landed on their island.

The 8-ball thing you mentioned was because of TPOT 13's storm, most exitors ended up flying to somewhere around goinky away from the others, like match on the pillary ruins, firey jr in the cabin from TPOT 14 and roboty still staying in the grasslands surprisingly, we have yet to see where bracelety, david, stapy and dora went to

If I recall, the reason some contestants stay and others are taken is because the ones who stay are still actively competing, the others were eliminated.

I had a theory that 9 might be the host of season 6 because in TPOT 15, there was that scene in the alternate timeline where anchor hit Earth and then it caused 2 to go to that alien planet instead. And then 9 showed up on Earth instead of 2 because of that.

The reason why 8-Ball showed up because he was flung away by Four, since he tried to rejoin the game. Ofc he wasn’t popular enough, and each flung contestant who failed to rejoin the game went to each different place.

Back then i thought that season 6 would be that firey and leafy would be hosting the season and the prize is the dream island they found.

My prediction is that One forces the kidnapped contestants to compete for freedom (or something else) and that's the setup for season 6

I reckon season 6 will be similar to idfb, with the viewers voting to bring back a contestant, also another competition would take screen time from the main story
