Found this weapon once. If you put 5 points on heavy weapons, 5 points on Explosives (yes, it has an effect on explosive weapons) and 3 on bloody mess (15 percent damage plus) you can reach a total of more than 80 damage with a shooting speed of 330. It kills everything in seconds - including yourself even with max. X-01 PA if the enemy is too close....

I love how the minigun, which is by default among the worst heavy weapons in the game, becomes the most overpowered thing in the world when you find it with the explosive legendary effect.

When I found the explosive minigun, I had to name it "A-10 Warthog"

i was from personal experience expecting him to shoot too close to himself and die , whist losing the weapon because forgot to save after picking it up

I personally enjoyed the plasma infused mini gun.

I had an explosive automatic assault rifle but had to stop using it because even on survival difficulty it would shred a Behemoth down in seconds. Way too OP.

i found it on a legendary diamond city guard, got it at like level 10, was nearly impossible to kill the guy and run away but eventually after many savescums i got it
