THIS brings a smile. So happy you find this a worthwhile song to give it your all. Applause! Applause! Promises was my very first Broadway show. I was a college kid in with a student discount. I don't recall this song at all, or that other one she just kills. Seems I wasn't a very smart student. Even back in those days, Burt and Hal WERE known to write genius songs. Where was my head? I much prefer this today over "Raindrops Keep Falling...On My Head." For my money, this song is the most sophisticated they wrote, and the damn most difficult to sing. Thanks for your rendition.
