As a native Floridian who grew up around this area, I would've preferred that the Villages had never come here at all. It used to be beautiful pasture and small country homes. It was very peaceful and serene then. Now it looks like Disneyland and it just keeps spreading like a virus.

Dude this is literally happening all over the state. Everywhere. Get out and take a drive beyond your area. There are huge apartment developments going up everywhere.

I'm a retiree that doesn't get why anyone would want to live like that. It just seems weird to me. Are all these people so afraid of normal average working class Americans that they have to gate themselves off like this. It's just weird to me.
