The ironic thing is the kid who started the fire (who is now a fully grown adult) has confirmed that he never had cable, so he had no awareness of the show to begin with. That and his mother called the local news before calling the fire department. And he has no intention of watching the show now. With all the trauma he's endured, being gaslit (no pun intended) into thinking the show made him do it, and Beavis' pyromania, I can't say I blame him.
