I guess this confirms in a way that Blue an Yellow Diamond can remove their appearance modifiers, in this case being Blue's cloak and Yellow's gloves, and maybe possibly her helmet if that isn't her hair.

sorry to be that person but that directly condtradicts the last episode of season 2 where peridot says "shirts-....imagine appearance modifiers that aren't attached to your body" even if it something like a jacket gems cant take off their clothes they can only take off accessories that aren't a part of their transformation like how garnet doesn't have her glasses when she fuses and has to make glasses
