Tip: you can add beetroot instead of red food colour and then you can mash it...

Just a suggestion: Rather than adding artificial food colouring, you can use beet root. It gives the colour as good as the artificial colouring but probably it is much healthier.

Hi, I came across your website while searching for a pav baji recipe and I tried it out. I’m new to cooking so I don’t know a lot and I’m newly married and in a joint family where women cook. I could hear my husband’s friends saying it’s damn good, bohot hi achi bani hai again and again.. you literally saved me from alot of embarrassment today ️ I made a few modifications though about which I was a bit unsure, I added carrots to this recipe. It still turned out great!
