this is Windows 10 issue, because it forces Triple Buffering so it makes random frame losses even if fps are way above you monitor Hz, but this is even worse if fps drops under monitor Hz, I can deal with that personaly but this works far better on Windows 7 when you use Basic Theme it disables everything Triple Buffering and V Sync completely reducing the input delay and random frame loses but you get screen tearing

GD needs to update the whole settings part, it's so outdated, it even makes some levels unplayable

just turning on smooth fix worked for me. at 1440 fps the spaceship was glitched out, though that still happened with smooth fix on. i now use 1008 fps (144x8)

Yea I got the same problem but when I researched more people recommended 360 fps I tried and it was better because I'm trying to beat cataclysm and I couldn't do the ship parts because they were too hard on 60 fps and it fps bypass helped me a lot

To fix this on your computer turn on apperence mode instead of performance of what you probably have on. No lag for me when I turned on apperence mode

id did 60-144 and on my 144hz monitor i did 144-360 it worked tottaly fine the frame drops were only happening when too much apps were running in the background and i had 320fps and tps perfectly fine

thats cause 300 fps might be a stretch, try 240

so, im playing gd with 60 fps with 60 hz monitor, and when i change it to 360 fps, its getting laggy and i cant even play toe2( turn off vsync and turn on all the smooth fix) with my potato pc, so i getting stuck at 60 fps ;-;
