Accuracy will be greatly improved if the unit is fitted directly under a horizontal plastic skin ( least signal attenuation ) as the more satellites that it sees the better

not too bad in the grand scheme of things... the gps tracking was only off by like a mile or something, not good at all, I'd see that as a complete fail. you're a very positive kind of guy lol

hi...i got exactly d same devuce of gps tracker like ur, can u plz tell me how to setup the initial SMSs and wht to send in...i have wasted alot of time..but nothing is happening... im v v frustrated and also..the manual is not helping out, v confusing.... m using amaysim carrier... n APN is either amaysim internet ir yesinternet, n in d manyal it says intial password is 000000. plz help me..i live in Melbourne

I think it send it back to the closest Phone Antenna. That's why it shows it 2km away from your actual location. I think this is how police track cell phones, it's an estimated area and not actual location. I'm just guessing though

any updates on this? how much data does it use? and is there an app or something i can check to see where it is at any time? and does the bike need to be switched on to power it? thanks

Did you know your gps device does actually have gps. it uses phone signal to roughly give a location. It only works with a data activated sim card so check your network provider for data charges!

Mohammad Suhel shaikh, I haven't tried. A little hard to ride and check my GPS position on my phone ;-) I would imagine it does, but the position isn't that accurate for this model. I didn't spend much and there are other models out there that are a lot more accurate and yes, will give real time position

How long will it work in passive mode from that battery? I mean in mode when you are not using that with 24/7 gprs track view. SMS position reports once a day or a week only. Thx!

does the gps device get hot when you conect it to the battery? I conected the wires and the device feels hot, I'm worry about it
