dude. I sincerely want to thank you very very much. I just bought a 144hz monitor andi was freaking out since my gpu was at like 55c on idle (usually at 30c). So thank you very much for this tutoral brother :).

Thanks a lot. I had read how to do with Nvidia inspector but nowhere it was mentioned right click show overclocking icon. Gpu power usage dropped from 40w to 10w at idle.

Hi, I did this and it worked! My GPU (2080 super) went from 1560MHz to 645MHz and a temp of 50. Before I got 2 more screens i idled at 310MHz with a temp of 33. My question is, is this acceptable? Mališa Jevremović

Damn, they still didn't fix this? My RTX 2080S is running at 1650mhz idle and keeps hitting 60 degrees so the fans spin up.

Hi, i have two issues with this method.. 1. The idle clock of my RTX 2080Ti goes from 1215Mhz to 645Mhz. However 645Mhz is still way too much for desktop triple monitor usage.

when i add the games tot he 3d application box the forced performance state does not change to 0. It stays at 8.. what could be the issue here?

I put it at 0% on accident and now i can't put it back because my displays go grey
